march 3 meeting at the church 6:15pm

pinewood derby has been postponed, if you are interested in helping out for this event, there is a committee that needs parent volunteers, let me know. it might be canceled if we don't get enough interested people.

march 14 Sunday Meet and Greet at the church, we need to show our support and thanks to Grace First Church by greeting the members on their way in to service. 8:15 am in uniform, more info to come

march 17 meeting at the church, camp fire 100th birthday meeting, be sure and wear your uniform one wednesday in the month of march to earn your special patch.

march 20 cake auction event for our neighborhood association at the Camp Fire Council (new location) 6:30 to 8pm. each child will bring a homemade or store bought cake with whatever crazy decoration you can come up with. the cakes will earn awards and will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. you can bring grandparents to this event or anyone who may want to buy a cake to help support camp fire. some of the cakes will be carved up and eaten during the event so it will be a sugarfest for sure!

april 17 potential lunatic party at lisa g's house!!!
1520 Hackett, Long Beach, 90815 (near csulb) 5pm hot pizza and sub sandwiches served, roy rogers and shirley temples to drink at the "bar" (water will also be available), concert starts at 5:30pm. friends and family welcome to attend. this will be all about having fun!!

april 24 all council work party at camp shiwaka, come and help clean up camp to get it ready for summer, free hamburger lunch after will be provided.


april 28 meeting at the church

be sure and put camp shiwaka on your calendar for august 9 through 13, more info to come, we will have a parent meeting dedicated just to camp and we will organize the entire week without the kids to distract us. if you are available to help during the week, let me know, there is a day camp training on a saturday in may that is mandatory (tba). i will need at least one parent to take this training. i will be helping with my 4th grade group that week as well, even with most of my attention going to the kinder group parent help would be greatly appreciated. its super fun, you will enjoy it!!
